Bob has been interested in the design and construction of our environment since his elementary school days. In May 2007 after years of experience in the public and private work sectors, he took his passion for architecture and announced the opening of Case Architecture.

After receiving an Associates in Applied Science in Architectural Technology from Delta College, Bob continued his education at Lawrence Technological University receiving his Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees in Architecture.

Gaining experience with various sized architectural firms has provided a diversity in projects and clients resulting in a strong foundation to start his own company in the spring of 2007. Currently Bob is licensed to provide architectural services in Michigan and has held licenses in various states throughout the country including; Alabama, Illinois, Mississippi, New York, South Carolina, Texas and Wyoming.

Do you specialize in any specific project types?

Although our experience includes Financial, Civic, Commercial and Residential, the majority of our ongoing work is in the Healthcare market.



How has technology changed the profession of Architecture?

While hand drawings and sketches are still used during the preliminary design phases, we utilize the industry standard of AutoCAD software to generate our construction documents. Recently, we have provided 3 dimensional modeling utilizing SketchUp allowing the owner to walk through their building while still under design.



What is the size of your firm?

Case Architecture consciously remains a small architectural design firm of under 6 people. We utilize consulting engineers to provide Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering as needed to best suit your specific project needs.



If I have a contractor already selected, can I still hire you for the design work?

Case Architecture has experience with all major project delivery systems including; Design Bid Build, Design Build and Construction Management. Contact us to discuss these different options.



What is your most notable project?

Notable past projects include; Freeland Sports Zone, Eye Care Specialists of Michigan, and our ongoing work with Johnson Portables providing disaster relief healthcare projects throughout the country.


